Meet the team

Isla Dougan

President

Isla Dougan will be graduating from Ridgefield High School, CT, in 2027. She is excited to help young children find books they will love. She looks forward to holding book fairs and hearing the different interests of kids. Over the years, Isla has started to enjoy reading more and more, and wants to help young kids do the same. Outside of Turning Pages, Isla loves to play soccer for A.C Connecticut National team and run track for Ridgefield High School. She also likes to take photos for her sister’s basketball games. 

Erin Klosowski

Fundraising Officer

Erin Klosowski will graduate from Ridgefield High School, CT, in 2027. Erin was inspired to join Turning Pages recently, for she has always been a prolific reader growing up and wants to help spread the gift of reading to others. Erin’s role in Turning Pages is fundraising coordinator and she is responsible for generating ideas and organizing fundraising events for the program. Erin looks forward to helping as many kids as possible get the chance to read and ignite their passion for it. Aside from Turning Pages, Erin enjoys playing soccer for the A.C Connecticut National team, and playing basketball for Ridgefield High School. In addition, Erin loves volunteering for many different charities and her hobbies include running, traveling, and baking. 

Kate is graduating from Ridgefield High School in 2027. She is driven by her passion for reading, which led her to join Turning Pages to foster that love in others. Eager to assist children in discovering their literary favorites, Kate serves as the fundraising coordinator for Turning Pages. Kate is an active member of the Girls High School lacrosse, swim, and basketball teams, as well as the freshman class student government. During summers, she plays lacrosse for the Gold Coast Lacrosse club. Kate's commitment to community extends beyond athletics and literacy, as she generously volunteers her time coaching swimming and contributing to an annual charity ball.

Liam Gorelnick

Donations Coordinator

Liam is poised to graduate from Ridgefield High School as part of the class of 2027. Introduced to Turning Pages by friends, he was immediately drawn to the organization's mission. Within Turning Pages, Liam takes charge of organizing books and managing donations. At free book fairs, he finds joy in guiding young readers to discover their love of reading. Alongside his dedication to Turning Pages, Liam showcases his athleticism as an active member of both the Ridgefield Aquatic Club and the Ridgefield High School Boys Swim team. Outside of his academic and athletic interests, Liam participates in hobbies such as skiing and playing the violin, enriching his life with diverse experiences.

Mairead Luhman

Donations Coordinator

Mairead will graduate from Ridgefield High School in the class of 2027. Mairead’s role in Turning Pages is Donations Coordinator.  Mairead joined Turning Pages because she wanted to be part of a club that gives back to communities in need. She is excited to meet new people and spread kindness through this experience. In her free time, Mairead likes to swim for her club team Ridgefield Aquatic Club and for Ridgefield High School. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. 


Caroline Coury

Fundraising Officer

Caroline Coury, will graduate from Ridgefield High School, CT, in 2026, is thrilled to be a part of the Turning Pages experience, where she helps children discover the joy of reading. As the fundraising coordinator, she is enthusiastic about organizing events and raising funds to support the organization's mission. Alongside her involvement with Turning Pages, Caroline is an active member of the CT Angels softball team. When she's not on the field or volunteering, Caroline enjoys traveling, listening to music, spending time with friends, and attending concerts.
